taxes 2013
Here in the Netherlands, at least for me , the taxes start coming on the beginning of the year. I had so many taxes to pay that i will only finish paying then this month.
One thing they do here, they let you pay in 3 times and give you ate least 1 month time to pay, they just want you to pay it.
When i lived in Portugal i remember receiving bills with just one week to pay , sometimes not expecting that amount.
Here they give you time, but they left you dry, i payed in total till the end of this month, in taxes, not bills, €839.24.

It was a long ride, using the calculator to be able not to fail the date. Finally i am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. They have here so many taxes , how can they had the worst European month defice in February or March, i do not remember correctly.
Here is a list of what i had to pay:
municipal taxes
Municipal year tax: €455.13
It includes €100 by the 2 dogs i have, it´s about €50 per dog This one they let you pay in 3 times.
water taxes
Water/sewer year tax: €191,11
This one they give you an warning of 2 months.
road tax
Road tax (every 3 months): €193
So expect at least the first months of the years to be just for paying the taxes and bills. Take your calculator of the drawer and good luck….
